Pheonix and Monument Valley
Yesterday, we had lunch with a distant relative in Pehonix. We'd never met her, so it was nice to meet and have lunch.
It was really hot in the afternoon/evening, so we spent the entire time in the pool.
Today, we drove to Monument Valley, Utah. It was a beautiful drive.
Along the way, we spotted Tuba City, so we stopped for a bit to think about cousin Clay. For those that don't know, Clay is an amazing tuba player.
We arrived, set up camp and spent some time at the playground. No pool here.
We met a lovely man, his kids and his wife (in that order), and the kids favorite: his drone. Watching it fly a bit and then had dinner. We then met our neighbor, who has the same drone as the gentleman at the playground, so the kids have been having a blast watching the drone take off and land - as well as playing "ground control."
