Redwoods!

We spent Saturday and Sunday traveling and visiting the redwood forest and outlying areas.

The trees were amazing and HUGE. Dylan said that in school he saw a picture where eight children fit around a redwood. We dont know how, as these trees were much too large! 

We spent Saturday hiking in the forest and we drove down a beautiful road. 

Sunday we spent the morning at Trees Of Mystery. It was amazing too. There was a canopy trail that Dylan and Stefanie walked. Took them through the tops of the the trees. 

Sarah and Jo stayed on the ground and walked through. 

We all saw lots of interesting trees and read about them too.

We all took the tram ride to the top, saw an overlook area (it was foggy) and rode back down.

We bought a clock.

Paul Bunyon was there too! The most famous lumberjack of all.

Then we headed off to Petaluma, northern San Francisco.
