Thats a mighty big hole....
We arrived early to our kampground, and since we booked a kabin, set up was super quick. We just needed our luggage and food stuffs out.
The kids loved having bunk beds.
We went early in the morning to Grand Canyon. We took the shuttle to the Geology Museum and walked around a bit, then drove down Desert View road.
Grand Canyon is amazing. Its enormous and, pictures can't do it justice. But we shall try anyway. After, we went to the Grand Canyon Chocolate Factory. Unfortunately, you can't watch them make goodies but they were delicious.
We did what every good tourist does. We shopped for souvenirs at the gas station.
They had some cool stuff, like these large geodes.
We THEN went to the Air Museum, which turned out to be closed. We still got to see one cool plane and we learned that 20% of the planes here have been featured in films.
When we returned to the kampground, Jo pointed out that the bird babies were hatched and mom was off looking for food.
An evening of swimming and mac and cheese for dinner! Perfect end to a great day.
Love the pics of the baby birds! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteCute cabin looks very cozy.
Seems like the kids have grown inches on your trip😥
